Gilpin Givhan, PC is pleased to announce that Kaitlyn M. Mitchell has joined the firm as an associate in the firm's Tax, Corporate & Securities, and Estate & Business Succession practice groups. Mrs. Mitchell advises clients on a wide range of transactional, regulatory, and tax matters, with a focus on estate planning, corporate law, and business transactions.

Mrs. Mitchell earned both her J.D. and her LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Alabama School of Law in 2025. During law school, she served as a Senior Editor for The Law & Psychology Review and competed on the New York City Bar National Moot Court Competition team. She also received the Judge C. Michael Stilson Bankruptcy Award and the Bankruptcy Commercial Law Section Award. She received her B.A. from Auburn University in 2022, graduating summa cum laude.
