Gilpin Givhan, PC is proud to welcome Andrew Faul to the firm as an associate attorney. Mr. Faul joins the firm with a strong academic foundation and hands-on experience in estate planning, fiduciary law, and tax-related matters, further strengthening the firm’s Business & Corporate, Taxation, and Trusts & Estates practice areas.

Mr. Faul received his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in May 2025 and his LL.M. in Taxation at the University of Florida in December 2025. He consistently earned Dean’s List honors throughout law school and was awarded the CALI Book Award in Estate Planning. His academic involvement includes serving as an Executive Articles Editor for the Journal of Technology, Law and Policy and as a Student Editor for the Florida Tax Review. Together with Muthusami Kumaran, Mr. Faul is the author of Unruly Boards: Abrogating the Separate Duty of Obedience in Nonprofit Organizations, 31 Barry L. Rev. (forthcoming May 2026).

In addition to his academic achievements, Mr. Faul brings meaningful practical experience to the firm. During law school, he gained hands-on experience supporting probate and estate-related matters, conducting in-depth legal research, and drafting pleadings and correspondence for attorneys and clients. He also assisted with scholarly research focused on trust law, fiduciary duties, and emerging issues involving data and privacy in the legal profession.
