David is an associate in the firm’s Corporate and Securities, Commercial Real Estate and Economic Development practice areas. David advises clients in a variety of commercial real estate matters including the purchase and sale of property, commercial leasing, and financing. He also counsels clients in a variety of business areas including mergers and acquisitions, entity formation and structure, corporate governance and securities law. David also advises cities, counties and private entities in structuring state and local incentive packages and the related financings for the location of economic development projects within the State of Alabama. Outside the office, David enjoys playing music and Auburn University athletics. David lives in Auburn with his wife, Amanda, and son, Samford (Ford) James.
