Andrew is an associate in the firm’s Taxation, Trust & Estates and Business & Corporate practice groups. Andrew advises closely held businesses and their owners on various tax, business succession and estate planning matters. Andrew works with clients on entity formation, governance, and ownership transitions, and assists in developing tax-efficient strategies that support both ongoing business needs and long-term planning goals.
During law school, Andrew served as a research assistant to Professor Lee-ford Tritt, a pre-eminent scholar on trust and estates; as Executive Articles Editor of the Journal of Technology Law and Policy; and as a student editor of the Florida Tax Review. His academic research and writing focuses on issues of nonprofit governance, fiduciary oversight, and tax-exempt organizations, as well as the intersection of technology and the legal profession.
Outside the office, Andrew enjoys golfing, watching football, and agriculture.
Experience >
- Researched and analyzed estate planning and probate issues, including fiduciary authority, beneficiary rights, and administration matters, to support the structuring and implementation of client estate plans.
- Assisted with drafting and reviewing estate planning and related transactional documents, as well as client correspondence, to address planning objectives and resolve administration issues.
- Worked closely with associates and partners to evaluate planning strategies, anticipate potential disputes, and ensure alignment with clients’ long-term tax and succession goals.
